Star Sketch 10

Delicately Hand Woven Raw Silk "Star Sketch" Encrusted in crystals that I grew on the fabric. Sealed with museum quality resin to help with the preservation and strength of the weaving. I use up scraps of fabric from my larger weavings to make these so that I'm not throwing away fabric waste. Each Star Sketch is unpredictable so I never know 100% how the weaving will turn out. This makes this process so exciting and a surprise every time. Due to the nature of growing the crystals each piece of fabric reacts in a different way. Measures roughly 5in x 7in
