Hand Meets Sky Robe/Cape & Hand Woven Gold Belt

Beautifully oversaturated dyed silk cape named after my dear friend Krista from Hand Meets Sky. Reminiscent of the beautiful Vintage Turquoise and Hand Beaded Earrings that she and her family meticulously hand pick. Krista is a Fifth Generation New Mexican and has the honor and privilege of partnering with numerous trusted Native American Artists (mostly Female). Each piece is hand crafted in traditional designs with genuine stones and sterling silver. With the help of her Mom, Gloria, they also design and create customized pieces.
Hand woven sparkly gold wrap belt made from Mulberry Silk and vintage gold thread. This thread is vintage and from 1965 Japan. I'd like to think that it was used to embroider to Kimono ( I can dream). Wrap yourself up and wear the piece like a robe or blouse it in the front and keep the back open for a cape effect. The belt is a tapered wrap belt measuring 73 in long and is embroidered with gold silk thread.
